Loading Strategy: Abort on Error
This is the normal loading strategy. In case of any error, this loading becomes aborted. Here, the user himself/herself has to rectify the problem. For load fail, the icon is displayed as that data-set‘s icon in the explorer. The user can check the reason for loading abortion to rectify it from the source. The user should right click on that data-set and should go to the context menu option ‘Dataset History’ to check that. The following pop up will be opened.
Here, the ‘Remarks’ column carries which errors occurred in a particular load for a data-set. The ‘Dataset History’ list not only carries the error information, but also carries overall loading information like loading data-time including successful loads. In erroneous case, the source file becomes available for download in Excel format, where the reasons for fault are pointed out with tooltip on those cells.
